“I needed Jesus to come into my life; end the failure and give me a new beginning of victory and success.” “You always show great love to my mother Mrs Kasasa, and have promised to bless her children. She has made me believe that You are the forgiver of sins and provider of wisdom. O Lord God, now fulfil the promise you have made to my mother. You have made me the first born in my family, so give me the wisdom and knowledge I need to be a good example to my siblings. Otherwise how would I ever be able to be exemplary to them if I keep on failing.” These words went through Rita’s mind as a result of her poor academic performance. SALVATION “My name is Mrs. Rita Faith Nansasi Wasswa. I have been a member of The Kakande Ministries since my childhood.” Rita always came to church with her mother Mrs. Kasasa but she had never made a personal decision to accept Jesus. One Sunday in December 1990 when she was listening to the preaching of the Man of God Prophet Samuel Kakande, he preached about God giving wisdom and quoted - “James 1: 5 which says that if any one of you lacks wisdom he should ask God who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.” She recalls. After the summon, the man of God called out all those who wanted to take Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and Lord. He quoted – “Romans 10:9-10 which says that if you confess with your mouth, that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” Ritah says. That day she made up her mind to accept Jesus because she had performed very poorly in her primary five end of year exams and as a result she was so heartbroken and feeling such a failure in life. “I needed Jesus to come into my life; end the failure and give me a new beginning of victory and success. “ She says. Ever since that day when she confessed Jesus Christ as her personal saviour and Lord; her life has never been the same again. Jesus of Prophet Samuel gave her wisdom and knowledge to study and complete her studies successfully. PROPHECY In 1996 when she was in secondary school the Man of God gave her a prophecy about her studies. “He prophesied upon my life that God will make me a very prosperous lawyer. He always encouraged me to concentrate on my studies because God had prepared a bright future for me.” She recalls. In 2000 when she completed secondary school the Man of God gave her a prophecy that God will use her head, to make her travel everywhere in this world, and he encouraged her to be serious with her studies. “In the prophecy the Man of God told me that I will first go to Nairobi and the day I go to Nairobi that will mean that God has opened my door to travel abroad and no one will ever close it.” She says. She completed her Bachelor of Laws Degree in 2004 and became a lawyer when she graduated with a Second Class Upper degree in Law from Uganda Christian University. "In 2005 I completed my Post Graduated Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Center and I enrolled as an advocate of the High Court of Uganda.,” she says. Jesus gave her a very good job according to the prophecy of the man of God and she started travelling abroad. TRIPS “In July 2007 I got my first trip out of Uganda I travelled to Nairobi, in June 2008 I travelled to Washington D.C in North America, in April 2009 I travelled to The Republic of Chile in South America, in August 2009 I travelled to South Africa, in July 2010 I travelled to Ghana and in February 2011 I travelled to Arusha - Tanzania. I am expecting more and more trips abroad.” She says. All the trips are always on official duties she does not have to suffer to get Visas or air tickets all the travel arrangements are catered for, all the hotel bills are paid and she is always given enough funds for all her travel expenses. She only has to pack her travel bags and go. This is a confirmation of the Prophecy of the Man of God. Jesus opened the door for her to travel abroad. MARRIAGE “Jesus blessed me with a wonderful husband called Isaac Wasswa and we were wedded in holy matrimony on the 30th August 2009 at the Synagogue Church of all Nations. We have been blessed with a daughter called Alexandria Gabriella Nabasumba.” Jesus has continued to bless Ritah’s life, her finances, marriage and her job. “I thank the Man of God Prophet Samuel Kakande for all his prayers for me and my family together with my parents. I thank my Parents Mr. and Mrs. Kasasa of Kanyanya.” “May God richly bless and reward the Man of God Prophet Samuel Kakande,” says Rita.
