GIVING

Giving is one way of saying thank you to God for what he has done for me. Do you not like to be like Cornelius,(Acts10:4-5) whom Jesus told, 'Your offering and prayers are ringing in my ears!'. Do you want your offering to come up for a memorial before God? How marvelous that is!

 Giving is the beginning of receiving.If you give in truth,you are planting seeds that will be multiplied back to you.When you give God with hope and faith, he will give you in excess. Jesus sat down opposite the place where offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the treasury. Many rich people put in large amounts, but a poor widow came and put in two copper coins worthy a fraction of a penny. Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, 'I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put more into the treasury  than all the others. They all put out of their wealth, but she put in everything she had to live on (mark 12:43,44).
